Went to visit friends in South Deeside today. They are always so complimentary of our garden, and have often sought our advice. Well it is some time since we paid them a visit, and the students have become the masters, for their garden is the most interesting and beautiful I have come across. Their modesty belies their expertise. Our garden which I am very pleasd with is very much a summer garden. Derek and Angela have created a garden paradise which looks sensational all seasons,a large pond filled with coi carp and planted with marginal plants, paths that lead to areas of interest, evergreen plants Rhododendrons, Pittosporums, conifers, and so many unusual plants. If this isn’t enough their garden sculptures alone would keep you interested for a couple of hours. Mmm! perhaps it is time to prolong the garden season.
