One of the Perennial plants which is both fully hardy and also with exquisite flowers is the daylily (Hemerocallis).

Basking in glorious sunshine today, gardeners seldom sit in the sun for very long though. Something always catches our eye that needs tending to, although now and again it is nice to sit back and enjoy the fruits of your labour.
