    I see different pruning lengths mentioned on different websites.
    I live in Elgin, what height do you recommend for “Barnsley”; ground level? 12 inches? 2-3 feet?

    Lavatera Barnsley in my garden seems to do best if pruned to twelve inches in mid April. Look out for suckers and remove them at ground level otherwise the plant will revert,
